For the year 2026, the XXVI Ibero-Latin American Congress of Plastic Surgery FILACP will take place in Panama City, in the new convention center located on the impressive Amador Causeway, just minutes from the city center.
We will have the participation of more than 800 plastic surgeons, pharmaceutical companies and other professional partners of the industry, demonstrating the outstanding development of Ibero-Latin American plastic surgery, nurtured by its pioneers since 1940, and which today occupies an important place in this field all over the world.
It is a great honor for me to be the president of the “XXVI Ibero-Latin American Congress of Plastic Surgery FILACP Panama 2026” that will be held in Panama City, at the Amador Convention Center on April 21, 22, 23 and 24, 2026. This is the most important scientific event of the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery and will be organized by the Panamanian Association of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery (APCPER).
This event is held regularly every two years and brings together thousands of plastic surgeons from all over Latin America. We worked hard from early on to offer an unprecedented scientific and social event. In terms of science, we have invited expert professors from all our representative countries who will share their experiences and recommendations to make Ibero-Latin American plastic surgery the most innovative and safe on the planet. As for social matters, we will offer a varied and fun program to make friends and strengthen fraternal relations between our sister countries.
Panama is the hub of the Americas with many tourist attractions, an excellent and varied gastronomic offer. We are sure that it will be an unforgettable experience in every sense.

From April 21 to 24, 2026, the XXVI Biennial Congress of the Ibero-Latin American Federation of Plastic Surgery FILACP will be held in Panama City.
I am pleased to invite you to reserve these dates and be part of this magnificent Congress, whose program we are preparing with great care and dedication with Dr. Aniceto Rodríguez of the Scientific Committee, together with Dr. Luis Picard Ami Jr., President of the Committee Local organizer and Board of Directors of the Panamanian Association of Aesthetic and Reconstructive Plastic Surgery.
It will be a wonderful opportunity to fraternize with colleagues in our specialty from various countries and share an agenda that contributes to the exchange of knowledge and updating of new technologies, research and practical application within the branch of plastic surgery.
